OOTD 3: A day out with the sisters

Hi everyone, I'm glad to be back again with another outfit, hoping to inspire many others :)
I went to the Tate Britain for the first time (yes I know living in London and it's only my first time :| ), but nonetheless it was really good and me and my sisters really enjoyed it.

So, since we went out for a few hours and we walked for quite a bit through London, I wanted to wear something comfortable and 'simple' (yes, this is my simple but I wonder what others' 'simple' is?), even though I would have really loved to wear any of my maxi dresses which are so elegant and pretty, but it would not have been a really good day to wear one, so inshallah maybe another time.

Scarf: H & M
Blouse: Zara
Trousers: Primark

Anytime I see any bright colour I just fall in love, but ever since I bought this bag, a little over a year ago I have been obsessed with this blue colour and so when I saw this blue room I just had to do this ;) Another thing is what I love about my blouse is the belle sleeves, I'm just a sucker for anything with such sleeves, they are utterly beautiful.

My wedges are from Next. I must say people really underestimate Next, but recently they have changed quite a lot and a few pieces of clothing are really gorgeous and now a lot of their shoes are really nice as well, and I guess I do have a handful of shoes from Next.

Here is a shot of my jewellery, the orange and blue aztec print bangles are from H & M (which I think you can still get since I bought it not too long ago and I love them!) The red bangle on the right is from ebay (yes I repeat ebay! Do not underestimate what you can find on that lovely site!) The gold and red one is from my mum, which is real old, I mean even some of the stones have fallen out, but that does not stop me from wearing them :). The round ring on the right was a part of a set from New Look and the others were indian rings from Green Street. Once again the detailing of the sleeves are beautiful!

Yes my sister caught me with a funny face :| (The most decent one of many, but hey... that's life)

Finally, I left this till the end because I LOVE it soooo very much. It is from Zara and is relatively ok for Zara (roughly £20), because usually such necklaces from there are £30 and I could not refrain myself from buying it, I mean just look at all those colours! I wear it a lot now ;)

So thank you guys for whoever has read this and I hope you enjoyed reading it (although I do not write anything rather special :| ), but I do hope you liked my outfit, so I hope you come back for more :)

OOTD 2: Featuring Dian Pelangi Jacket

Hiii guys it's me Haafsah again, finally here with a second post, sorry about being so late it's just that I have been so busy that I just haven't had time :( , but on the bright side at least it's finally here and I myself am excited just because of the Dian Pelangi jacket (yayyyy!!! :) ). Please read on for more details of my whole outfit :)

A detailed view of the neckline of the jacket, which is absolutely stunning! (Amazing craftsmanship).

Here is the details of the back where you can see the print clearly and the colour, oh and I forgot to say that I got this jacket for £65 from the Eid Festival at Trafalgar Square, where they were selling a whole bunch of Dian Pelangi items and there were many different colours of this jacket, and they were all stunning, but the yellow always just gets me and I just couldn't hold myself back from purchasing it and I must say I have no regrets :)

Now girls, if you love maxi skirts like I do (and I'm telling I have sooooo many) and you like the style that is very flowy and elegant (because personally I do not like the fitted styles at all) then Asos is the place to go. I am telling you MAJORITY of my skirts that are the best looking are from Asos and you will not regret spending the money on these skirts, because they are of good quality and just the perfect style! (I think I have this skirt in quite a few colours :) )

Here is a detailed view of my jewellery and as you can see the top two rings I wear nearly all the time because they are my all time favourites, especially the one with the blue stone in the centre, which was given to me from my mum (or should I say taken ;) ). The blue-stoned and the butterfly one as well as the bangles are all from Green Street, my one and only hometown ;P, and the huge ring is from Bees (also in Green Street, but I'm sure there are other branches... right?)

I just couldn't help posting all these extra pictures since it took us a lot of time to take various images  in different places, so I thought why should I let it go to waste and the fact that I like the greenery :)

My first outfit of the day!

Hi guys! It's me Haafsah (although it may be your first time hearing this name and your first time seeing me) but this is now going to be the place where I show my outfits and hope to inspire others as well. As a Muslim girl, I know that it is quite difficult to find that balance between modesty and fashion (i.e. dressing up nicely), however I want to show that it is possible to dress up with modesty, because I'm not going to lie I seriously think about how I can keep myself covered up whilst wanting to wear the things I want to wear, but keep my own sense of style intact. But, I do know that everyone has a different opinion or idea of what 'modesty' means. My blog, is to show my modesty and my genuine love for clothes, shoes, jewellery (man you name it!). However, I do hope to inspire others whoever it may be, Muslims and non-Muslims. One last thing, is my advice to everyone out there who likes to dress up in any sort of way: dress for yourself and not according to what others think of you and what you wear, be confident in yourself and don't think about other people's opinions, because your life is your life and not for others to control :)

On this day I went out with my best friend to South Kensington because I had a craving for a crepe (yes I know it was all because of a craving, but what can you do girls). But, this is just my outfit that I put on in the morning which I ended up loving because of the colour combinations.

At the moment I have an obsessions with cat-eye sunglasses and this one is from ASOS (£12) and all you scarfies (who are from London) know that the scarf you can literally buy from anywhere for £3 in Whitechapel (the most common place), but I bought mine from Green Street :)

If you know me, you know I absolutely LOOOOVEE my jewellery! The necklace is from Zara and the rings are all from Indian stores on Green Street (but they are quite old so I don't really know the prices, sorry guys).

The final thing is my shoes! I absolutely LOVE them. They are from Zara and even for Zara I must say are quite cheap (£29.99) from the new basic collection. I'm loving the khaki colour and the fact that they are lace-ups, also the fact that they are small heels for once which means that I can wear them more often (without having to necessarily kill my feet because the rest of my heels are quite tall).

Outfit details:   Blouse: Next, £30
Trousers: Zara, £29.99 (I think, but went on sale)
Bag: Zara (last year, around £40)
Shoes: Zara, £29.99
Necklace: Zara, (around £30)
Jewellery: An assortment (sorry that's all the info I have on them)

And here's a final selfie from me! I hope you guys liked my outfit and whoever sees this comes back to see more. Just a final message: I really want to use this blog to promote positivity, because after all style should be unique and about what you want to wear.

Lots of love from Haafsah :)
