Hi guys! Well, I've been soooo excited about this and so anxious to show you guys because as soon as I saw it I thought "OH MY GOD, I NEED THIS!" (as I do with many things). But, I bought this in the sale very recently and I'd probably say December, actually, no it was even before the sales started, but at the time Asos had 20% off, so I bought this and ever since then I had been dying to wear it, so since the family were meeting up, I thought "yaaayy an opportunity to wear it" (eventhough I carry my pj's with me when I go around aunts houses and all), but I still got to wear it :) so I was super pleased. Well guys, enjoy looking through the images, because I won't say much, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
As you can see there is a split within the dress, but come on girls, that does not mean a hijabi can't wear this dress, just work with it and work it! (ha ha so cheesy, but you know what I mean). I wore my old bershka skinny trousers underneath, but I also wore a black H & M top underneath, because the arms are see through and the back and neck are very low cut, but it's nothing new for me, because even when things aren't see through I still wear a top underneath (I know it's weird, but I feel protected :) ). The dress fitting was a bit of a problem, I assumed that it would be loosely fitted from the top as well but that is not the case, it's very fitted at the top, but the shoulders were slipping off of me, but the length was perfect but I don't care I still love it :). Also, there is a layer underneath but it's a very short layer, which was very unnecessary for me because I wore trousers underneath anyways, and the layer was very fitted which felt uncomfortable, but, oh well.
(lool this face though, I just had to put it up)
My jewellery is the usual mixture and nothing new.
(Sorry don't mind the rubber band on my wrist, it's just a habit of carrying a rubber band around when I'm at home to tie up my hair and so that it doesn't get lost, it's really not a part of the look).
These shoes are from Asos, but the thing is I bought them like 2 years ago, well at the time I was preparing for my Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award ceremony, so I bought two pairs of shoes and these weren't the ones I chose, but I did not return these in time, so I guess I ended up keeping them both, and so here we are 2 years later and it's my first time wearing them :|
(Yes yes as you can see I was posing in the flats back garden, honestly there's nothing to be ashamed of ha haa).
So guys, I'm just going to point out how I did my make-up (although it's not anything special), just thought if anybody is wondering, I do this eye make-up only once in a while because its quite heavy for me and then it's reallyyyy hard taking it all off, and I just can't be bothered with all that (yes I'm lazy). I just did liquid liner AND inner liner (obviously mascara and lots of it), and lipstick by bourjois and the blusher I wore probably came off, because I don't wear a lot of it and by the way I don't wear foundation or any sort of face make-up, which is probably why the blusher comes off I guess?
Unfortunately, this dress is out of stock on Asos but it's by Glamorous and I went onto their website and found an EXTREMELY similar one for cheaper than mine (mine was £45), so here's the link:
Thank you guys for reading till the end and I hope you liked this outfit (I mean if I say so myself, I loved it lool), but I hope you come back for more :). See you soon inshallah
