Hi guys, sorry I haven't posted in soooo long, but i've been busy. However, since Eid came up, I mean it's just the opportunity to do a blog post right? ;) But, before I get started on my outfit, I hope everyone who celebrates Eid had a wonderful day :)
Well, whenever Eid comes I never really have any trouble with outfits because most of the time I already have brand new clothes in my wardrobe from a very long time ago which I have never once worn, so when an occasion such a this comes up I take it and make good use. I bought this dress from Mango last December during the christmas sale, where it was originally £90, but I got it for £45 (I know right! I can see the shock on your face at this very moment! loool!). So, the point is whenever there is a sale I always buy whatever I want whether it be extravagant (like this dress) or simple and even if I'm not in need of it anytime soon, but obviously it came in use nearly a year later (basically I buy whatever I think is nice whether I need it or not :| ) (NOT A VERY GOOD HABIT!). Aaannyywayss, back to this dress, I absolutely love this red, it's just the perfect shade and the pleating around the top section is amazing. I think I would have bought it for £90 even if it did not come on sale, because it's very worth the price, I mean Mango's clothing is well worth the price and very good quality. The only problem that people may find (and mainly shorter people like me) is that there maxi items are VERY long, which is probably because it is made for european females who tend to be a lot taller, but I will always find a way to wear something if I love it (TRUST ME). (But let me be grateful to god for the way I am, height, shape and everything :) )
Whenever it is a special occasion I wear this scarf and not my Green Street one's because they are more for occasions and are soooo pretty. I have another two colours in this and will probably get more colours inshallah. It's from a site called bella scarves and is around roughly £20, but it's worth it. The lace is very pretty and there are scarves with lace at the end or in the middle, just the only problem is that it may be a little short because I'm so used to the Green Street scarves, which are enormous, but as I said if I love something I will make it work somehow ;)
My jewellery you can probably guess from my previous posts (if you've read them) is from the oh so renowned Green Street, which are soooo pretty and I re-use the same jewellery time and time again because it's not really necessary to always buy new things for every occasion (since you can't wear such things on an every day basis, sad right). The belt around my waist is also stunning, which is from Zara at around £20 (these are rough estimates because I can't actually remember, sorry), but the detail is amazing and its quite heavy and a lot of people have mistaken this for a necklace lol.
My shoes are from asos and I bought it at around roughly £35.
So this is it for now, I hope you guys liked my outfit and I hope you come back for more :) Thank you for reading :) By the way guys, I just want to say it does not matter what sort of store you buy your clothes, shoes etc from or even food for that matter, as long as you like it and you can pull it off, the brand behind it does not matter, there is nothing to ever be embarrassed about or ashamed, because I know years before Primark became so huge people would either cuss others that you had bought something from 'such a place' or people would be embarrassed that they would not want others to know... but N-O! You guys cannot be like that as long as you like it, that's all that matters no matter what the cost or the name behind it :)
